If an animal is born in a cage, reared in a cage, and has only ever known life in a cage, is it any wonder that they are confused or frightened or unaware when the door to that cage opens?

  1. I love the vintagey feel of this image. For some reason, I also get a sense of those old-fashioned carnival images…a bit of an ominous tone – which may be the sepia and my own expectation coloring things. Definitely a thought-provoking image.
